| Profiel | Piet, nog altijd maar 22, stoomde via de ajax-school door naar Oostende, waar hij nauwelijks of geen speelkansen kreeg. Daarop trok hij naar Wevelgem, waar hij wel de kans kreeg om zich te bewijzen. En dat deed hij ook, wat leidde tot speler van de Belgian Lions. Na een lange inactiviteit door een operatie aan beide knieën lijkt Piet weer helemaal de oude.

| Nota | 2000-2001: Kampioen en Beker van België met Oostende
Tall and long limbed, has good wingspan and a great body frame that looks like he will eventually fill out........quick and fast, his athleticism is definitely better then average........runs the court and jumps well........a good low post player who scores consistently in the paint, knows the game and plays under control........has a good stance and shows some effective low post moves........excellent baseline hook shot........good shooter, has a soft touch........hits effectively the short-range jumper and his shooting efficiency is extended up to 15-ft........can step out and, sometimes, put the ball on the floor and finish with a hook........goes well to the offensive boards........very active on defense, has attitude, can slide and overplay........good rebounder who relies mainly on his agility........a good player who needs to develop his body structure and has the potential to do it........has a very competitive attitude on the floor, and possesses good technical skills........started having good playing time this season, and have demonstrated that he’s worthy of it........well, what’s the problem then? It seems he doesn’t have great desire nor that he is particulary smart.......will have to move and get playing time!!! |
